Well, if people like your family think that you are gay and you haven't broken the news to them, that you are straight, it's not that you are going back in the closet, but you have just found yourself in a different closet l, the straight closet. Your parents may have gotten adjusted to your life style, so they may be disappointed to hear that you are straight. They may even reject it and say that you are lying. I'd say just buy a nice bottle of wine and treat them to dinner. May be easier than you think :-)
